Mike, Rosanne, Cindy, and Kelly

Mike, Kelly, Cindy and Rosanne began collaborating together in 2011, producing and performing the CT premiere of [title of show].  Since then, the foursome has regularly collaborated, producing and performing 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Assassins, The Marvelous Wonderettes, Forever Plaid, several original cabaret fundraisers, as well as their original show Six Boobs and a Pianist.  In 2016, Mike, Kelly, Cindy and Rosanne began working together on Amy's House.

Michael Gowdy: Michael received his Bachelors and Masters in Music Education at Central Connecticut State University. He has been a music teacher for over 19 years, as well as a music director at church for over 26 years. He has always loved musical theater and has performed on stage as Smudge in Forever Plaid, Malcolm in The Full Monty, and Billy Bigelow in Carousel. More often than not, he is found music directing shows at a variety of community theaters. He lives in Wethersfield, CT (the oldest town in CT) with his unbelievably talented wife (you can find her bio below), and two ridiculously cute sons. Michael has composed and arranged music for his students and for bands he has played in, including a band he formed with his wife and friends called Cake For Breakfast. Major musical influences include Billy Joel, Stephen Schwartz, Alan Menken, Hans Zimmer, John Williams, Danny Elfman, Robert & Kristen Lopez, Lin Manuel-Miranda, and Benj Pasik & Justin Paul. Michael also enjoys ping pong, juggling, fantasy football, and watching The Bachelor


Rosanne Gowdy: During the day, Rosanne is a mom to two amazing boys with her super talented husband Michael Gowdy (yes the composer and bio right above this one!).  She is also a pediatric radiographer. Rosanne has a strong love of theatre, performing in favorite roles like Suzy in “The Marvelous Wonderettes,” Marian in “Music Man,” Eliza Doolittle in “My Fair Lady” and Belle in “Beauty and the Beast.” Rosanne also sings professionally as a cantor in many local churches.  She lives in the oldest town in CT, Wethersfield. Rosanne can bake a kickin’ batch of brownies.

Cindy Lesser: Cindy Lesser is a graduate of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music with a BFA in Musical Theatre. After graduating she worked at North Carolina Theatre in Raleigh, NC,  Candlelight Theatre, in Chicago, IL, and traveled to Tokyo, Japan to perform at Tokyo Disneyland and, naturally, did a bunch of waitressing and bartending in NYC.  She moved from NYC to CT after she met her fabulous husband of 20 years now. Together they have three amazing daughters and live happily in Wethersfield (the oldest town in Connecticut).  Favorite roles include Donna in "Mamma Mia," Mother in “Ragtime,” Martha in “The Secret Garden,” Missy in “The Marvelous Wonderettes,” and Heidi in “[title of show]”. 


Kelly Boucher: Kelly Boucher studied acting at The Shakespeare Theatre, The Neighborhood Playhouse and The Actor's Studio MFA Program at the New School. Favorite roles include Becca in Rabbit Hole, the Baker's Wife in Into the Woods, Anna in Boston Marriage, Big Edie and Little Edie in Grey Gardens, and Katharine Hepburn in Tea at Five. Kelly earned a MBA from Temple University and a BA in English from Eastern CT State University. Kelly works at Starwood Capital Group as a Regional Vice President of business development for New England and NY State.  Kelly lives in Haddam, CT (not the oldest town in CT) with her two labrador retrievers, Glinda and Holly.
